GPT OSS
❖ Welcome to the gpt-oss series, OpenAI’s open-weight models designed for powerful reasoning, agentic tasks, and versatile developer use cases. We’re releasing two flavors of these open models: gpt-oss-120b — for production, general purpose, high reasoning use cases that fit into a single 80GB GPU (like NVIDIA H100 or AMD MI300X) (117B parameters with 5.1B active parameters) gpt-oss-20b — for lower latency, and local or specialized use cases (21B parameters with 3.6B active parameters)
Qwen3-Coder
❖ We’re announcing Qwen3-Coder, our most agentic code model to date. Qwen3-Coder is available in multiple sizes, but we’re excited to introduce its most powerful variant first: Qwen3-Coder-480B-A35B-Instruct — a 480B-parameter Mixture-of-Experts model with 35B active parameters, offering exceptional performance in both coding and agentic tasks. It sets new state-of-the-art results among open models on Agentic Coding, Agentic Browser-Use, and Agentic Tool-Use.
Open R1
❖ A fully open reproduction of DeepSeek-R1. The goal of this repo is to build the missing pieces of the R1 pipeline such that everybody can reproduce and build on top of it.
Qwen3
❖ We are excited to announce the release of Qwen3, the latest addition to the Qwen family of large language models. These models represent our most advanced and intelligent systems to date, improving from our experience in building QwQ and Qwen2.5. We are making the weights of Qwen3 available to the public, including both dense and Mixture-of-Expert (MoE) models.
DeepSeek-R1
❖ We introduce DeepSeek’s first-generation reasoning models: DeepSeek-R1-Zero and DeepSeek-R1. DeepSeek-R1-Zero, a model trained via large-scale reinforcement learning (RL) without supervised fine-tuning (SFT) as a preliminary step, demonstrated remarkable performance on reasoning. DeepSeek-R1 incorporates cold-start data before RL, and achieves performance comparable to OpenAI-o1 across math, code, and reasoning tasks.
DeepSeek-V3
❖ We present DeepSeek-V3, a strong Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) language model with 671B total parameters with 37B activated for each token. To achieve efficient inference and cost-effective training, DeepSeek-V3 adopts Multi-head Latent Attention (MLA) and DeepSeekMoE architectures, which were thoroughly validated in DeepSeek-V2. Furthermore, DeepSeek-V3 pioneers an auxiliary-loss-free strategy for load balancing and sets a multi-token prediction training objective for stronger performance.
Qwen2-VL
❖ Qwen2-VL is the latest version of the vision language models in the Qwen model families. SoTA understanding of images of various resolution & ratio: Qwen2-VL achieves state-of-the-art performance on visual understanding benchmarks, including MathVista, DocVQA, RealWorldQA, MTVQA, etc. Understanding videos of 20min+: with the online streaming capabilities, Qwen2-VL can understand videos over 20 minutes for high-quality video-based question answering, dialog, content creation, etc.
DeepSeek MoE
❖ DeepSeekMoE 16B is a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) language model with 16.4B parameters. It employs an innovative MoE architecture, which involves two principal strategies: fine-grained expert segmentation and shared experts isolation. It is trained from scratch on 2T English and Chinese tokens, and exhibits comparable performance with DeepSeek 7B and LLaMA2 7B, with only about 40% of computations.
